Symposium in Honour of Marc Ditzhaus

Information

We cordially invite you to join us for a symposium in honour of our beloved colleague Marc Ditzhaus. Together with his friends and collaboration partners we will celebrate his statistical contributions and the lasting impact he has made on us. The symposium will take place July 7-8, 2025 at the Rudolf-Chaudoire-Pavillon, TU Dortmund University. Access to the rooms at the venue will be barrier-free. Please refer to the bottom of the page for directions to the venue.

The symposium will feature a series of talks, e.g., by

  • Jan Beyersmann (Ulm)
  • Takeshi Emura (Kurume)
  • Sarah Friedrich (Augsburg)
  • Arthur Gretton (London)
  • Carolin Herrmann (Düsseldorf)
  • Łukasz Smaga (Poznan)

It will also be an opportunity for all of us to share joint memories with Marc.

Best,

Dennis (Dobler) and Markus (Pauly)
