The symposium "Recent Advances in Meta-Analysis" took place from June 30 to July 1, 2025, at the Rudolf-Chaudoire-Pavillon of TU Dortmund University.

The event gathered researchers and practitioners to discuss modern developments in meta-analysis, with a particular focus on methodological innovations for scenarios involving few studies and small sample sizes.

The symposium was held as part of the DFG-funded joint research project “Valid methods for meta-analyses with few studies and small sample sizes” led by Prof. Tim Friede and Prof. Markus Pauly. We are grateful for the support of the German Research Foundation (DFG) in making this event possible.
