The new DFG project "Valid methods for meta-analyses with few studies or small numbers of cases - Part II" develops new methods to synthesize findings from different studies to provide a reliable and trustworthy basis for data-driven insights and decisions in medicine. It continues the succesful collaborations of Tim Friede and Markus Pauly from DFG project 413270747 and a VW project on Bayesian and Nonparametric Statistics.

The project is funded by the DFG for three years with almost 700k€ and allows for an intensive exchange with our Mercator Fellows Sofia Dias (York), Christopher Schmid (Brown University) and Wolfgang Viechtbauer (Maastricht)
