Best Presentation Award for Jan-Bernd Igelmann at the symposium "Recent Advances in Meta-Analysis"

In a democratic vote of all participants, he prevailed among all presentations by non-professors. The title of his presentation was: "Proper Back-Transformations in Random-Effects Meta-Analysis". The presentation illustrated the errors that can occur in the back-transformation of transformed target variables. The so-called transformation bias was illustrated using several applied examples.
